Alabama’s first quarter offensively against Ole Miss on Saturday was filled with frustration and poor performance which was capped off by a head-scratching mistake to end the period.
The Crimson Tide lined up to go for it on 4th and 1 from its own 36-yard line with under 10 seconds remaining with a running clock. It appeared as if Bryce Young had no intention of snapping the ball but center Seth McLaughlin clearly got the wrong message as he snapped the ball to Young who wasn’t ready and was tackled short of the yard to gain.
The group amassed just 22-yards as a team in the opening 15 minutes and with tensions high, Alabama’s two biggest leaders gathered the offense together to give it a piece of their mind.
Young and head coach Nick Saban was seen on the broadcast getting after the offense on the sideline after the lackluster quarter.

The talk from the two clearly got things going for the Crimson Tide as it was able to gut out a much-needed 30-24 victory over the Rebels.
