Georgia Tech will more than likely not make a bowl game as it faces Georgia to end its regular season.
The Yellow Jackets, who are 5-6, have an interesting decision to make. J Batt, a former deputy director for Alabama Athletics, is the new athletic director for Georgia Tech. Brent Key, a former offensive line coach for the Crimson Tide, is the interim head coach for the Yellow Jackets. Key has done well for the program, but a report from The Athletic says Bill O’Brien is favored to be the ‘top choice’ for Batt at Georgia Tech. According to Jeff Schultz, Batt would love to have O’Brien and keep Key as an assistant.
Brent Key has been impressive as GaTech’s interim HC but there’s a belief by some that Bill O’Brien is athletic director J Batt’s first choice, with the hope of Key remaining as an assistant. O’Brien and Key are friends. But Batt isn’t talking right now.https://t.co/qakk6rPYu1
