Jerod and Jacob both garner four-star ratings from multiple recruiting sites. Alabama is listed in the duo’s top ten along with Georgia, Kentucky, Michigan, Penn State, Ole Miss, Iowa, Notre Dame, Nebraska and Texas. Both prospects are coming off of a Tuesday visit to Georgia.
Alabama offered the twin brothers in June of 2022 and has hosted them more than a few times over the last year.
Jacob previously told Touchdown Alabama the pair is not sure when they will announce their commitment decisions, but they are looking to possibly release a top five this spring.
Jacob is listed at 6-foot-5 and approximately 225 pounds. He is being recruited as an edge rusher. He possesses the frame of a future outside linebacker in Alabama’s defensive scheme.
“I like the program a lot,” Jacob Smith said when asked about his thoughts on Alabama. “They are a powerhouse team. They run like a machine, and every very part is run as a unit. That is why they produce some of the best players to come out of college, and they are capable of putting plenty of players in the league.”
