Jalen Hurts working out ‘like a maniac’ after Super Bowl LVII defeat

Jalen Hurts (#1) celebrates TD run for Eagles in 2021 game versus New Orleans Saints

The Philadelphia Eagles suffered a heartbreaking 38-35 loss in Super LVII, but it hasn’t Jalen Hurts from working to improve his game for the 2023 football season.

According to Eagles Head Coach Nick Sirianni, The 2022 NFL MVP Finalist has been spending a lot of time in the weight room.

“He’s still in there working hard, still in there lifting and working out like a maniac in the weight room”, said Sirianni at the 2022 NFL Owner’s Meeting on Tuesday.

When asked what the ceiling is for his young quarterback, Sirianni stated it’s hard to tell.

“I don’t know, no one knows what Jalen’s ceiling can be but I know God willing he can reach it because of all the factors that he has,” said Sirianni. “He’s not all of a sudden different, he’s put in the work like you’ve seen him put in the work the last couple of years.”

Hurts left it all out on the field in Super Bowl LVII, racking up 374 yards of total offense, and scoring three times on the ground and once through the air. Had the Eagles won the game, he would’ve likely been nominated as the Super Bowl MVP.
