The ink has now dried on Irv Smith’s contract for his new NFL team.

He signed a one-year deal with the Cincinnati Bengals Thursday after four years with the Minnesota Vikings.

Cincinnati announced the news as Smith joins Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, and Tee Higgins. Smith, a New Orleans native, got selected in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft. The 6-foot-2, 240-pounder caught 88 passes for 844 receiving yards and nine touchdowns during his time with the Vikings. Smith played tight end for the University of Alabama from 2016 to 2018.
