Former Alabama TE Cameron Latu has his number for 49ers

He played outside linebacker and tight end at Alabama, but Cameron Latu is back on the west coast.

Latu got selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the third round (No. 101 overall) of the NFL Draft. He totaled 12 touchdown receptions combined in 2021 and 2022 for the Crimson Tide, including eight in 2021. Latu has an opportunity to become a marquee player in Kyle Shanahan’s offense with George Kittle. He will wear the same No. 81 that he had with the Tide.
