Jordan Battle has his rookie number for Cincinnati Bengals

He wore No. 9 during his tenure at the University of Alabama, but Jordan Battle is now in the National Football League.

As a third-round pick of the Cincinnati Bengals, the South Florida native has a new number.

He is wearing No. 27, according to a release from the Bengals. Battle got selected at No. 95 overall and has signed his rookie contract. He came to the Crimson Tide as a four-star safety in the 2019 recruiting class. Battle helped the Crimson Tide to a College Football Playoff National Championship in 2020 and two Southeastern Conference titles in 2020 and 2021.

He finished his career with six interceptions.
