A freshman quarterback for Alabama football has closed a chapter of his life.

Dylan Lonergan, a four-star recruit in this recent class, graduated from Brookwood High School in Georgia on Wednesday.

He dominated in football and baseball at Brookwood, totaling 3,923 total yards and 39 touchdowns in his junior year. Lonergan served as a pitcher on the diamond. The 6-foot-2, 212-pounder had a good spring game performance, completing eight of 14 passes for 79 yards and a touchdown. He led an 80-yard drive that finished on a 6-yard touchdown pass to Justice Haynes.
Lonergan is now set to focus solely on college at the University of Alabama.
