Brian Pride - Touchdown Alabama Magazine

The University of Georgia has won the last two national championships, but Alabama football has been the conversation of the collegiate game since Nick Saban became the head coach in 2007.

He guided the Crimson Tide to national championships in the Bowl Championship Series (BCS) era in 2009, 2011, and 2012, and national titles in the College Football Playoff (CFP) era in 2015, 2017, and 2020. Terrell Lewis, a University of Alabama alumnus, was on Alabama’s 2017 CFP National Championship team. He arrived as a four-star in the 2016 class from Washington, D.C.

Lewis got selected in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams. He helped the team to a Super Bowl Championship in 2021 during his three seasons. Lewis is now with the Chicago Bears, but he has seen some of the best documentaries on teams. The USC Trojans under Pete Carroll and the 2001 Miami Hurricanes are two of several aspects of collegiate sports with a documentary. Lewis wants to know when ESPN will do a 30 for 30 on Alabama football’s dominance.

It would be something for a lot of people to check out.
