He carries exceptional talent, but it is his fun-loving, open personality that causes people to flock to Najee Harris.
Harris is a two-time 1,000-yard rusher for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He got selected at No. 24 overall in the 2021 NFL Draft following a successful career at the University of Alabama.
Harris, a California native, was in Oakland on Friday tossing the ceremonial first pitch at the Athletics’ game. The A’s are not having a good season, 10-43 record, but it did not stop Harris from having fun throwing the first pitch.

He was dripping in Athletics gear, wore a No. 22 jersey, and danced to the pitcher’s mound.

Harris, a former five-star in Alabama’s 2017 recruiting class, helped the Crimson Tide to two College Football Playoff National Championships in 2017 and 2020. He finished his career as the program’s all-time leading rusher (3,843 yards) and leader for rushing touchdowns (46). Tide fans want to see him continue making an impact in the NFL as he enters his third season.
