Alabama practices have been notorious for their physicality and ample time under pressure since Nick Saban came to town.
Some players, like Josh Jacobs, have even mentioned how NFL practices were surprisingly easy after going through a fall with the Crimson Tide.

Former Alabama running back Jahmyr Gibbs has now offered his analysis on the difference between Saban led practices and those of the Detroit Lions.
“With Saban, we’re probably hitting every day,” Gibbs said. “Full pads, in the heat, two hours. Here we get good work in but they don’t try to kill us.”

Those long practices in the heat have appeared to pay off for Gibbs so far as he was selected with the No. 13 overall pick in this year’s draft by the Lions.
