Metchie got selected in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft after a good career at the University of Alabama. He helped the Crimson Tide to an undefeated College Football Playoff National Championship season in 2020 with 55 catches for 916 yards and six touchdowns. Metchie joined Jameson Williams in 2021 to post 1,000+ (1,142) receiving yards for the Tide and eight scores.
