The Houston Texans are excited about John Metchie’s progress.

As a former Alabama wide receiver, he missed his rookie season because of a treatable form of leukemia. Metchie has worked his way into participating in offseason workouts. According to KPRC Channel 2 in Houston, Texans’ general manager Nick Caserio said Metchie is in a ‘good spot.’ Caserio said Metchie is making progress and not showing any setbacks for the Texans.
