Even in the middle of the offseason, Jalen Hurts is still collecting honors for his run to the Super Bowl with the Eagles.

This time he is being recognized by the ESPYs as he was announced as a finalist for the Best NFL Player award. In contention with Hurts is San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Nick Bosa, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Hurts had the best season of his career in 2022 as he passed for 3,701 yards, 22 touchdowns and completed 66.5% of his passes. He also got things done with his legs rushing for 760 yards and 13 touchdowns as he led the Eagles to a record of 14-1 with him as the starting quarterback.

His success would continue into the postseason as the Eagles squared off against the Chiefs in the Super Bowl. Despite leading for the majority of the game, the Eagles fell to the Chiefs 38-35 in Super Bowl LVII. But Hurts did leave an impact on the game passing for 304 yards with one touchdown and rushing for 70 yards and three rushing touchdowns.

The ESPY Awards will be held on July 12 at 7 p.m. on ABC and fans will be able to cast their votes for Hurts here.
