Summary
Alabama fans are excited to see Justice Haynes, but five-star Richard Young is not chopped liver.
He amazed crowds at Lehigh Senior High School in his career at Lehigh Acres, Fla.
Young put on a show as a junior, totaling 1,700+ rushing yards and 19 touchdowns. The 5-foot-11, 200-pounder has an explosiveness that jumps out on film. He hits holes quickly and accelerates for marquee plays. Young brings size, athleticism, contact balance (breaking tackles), and power, but his explosiveness is undeniable. He is off to the end zone if he gets by the first wave of defenders. Young did not enroll in the spring, but he may have an opportunity if he shakes things up in preseason camp.
He is the real deal, especially if you watch his tape from his junior season.
