The stalemate concerning Quinnen Williams and the New York Jets for a new contract is over.
Williams, 25, received a massive extension Thursday from the organization. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Williams pocketed a four-year deal worth $96 million. He gets $66 million guaranteed as he enters his fifth season in the NFL.

Williams made the Pro Bowl in 2022 and got first-team All-Pro honors. The former No. 3 pick of the 2019 NFL Draft recorded 55 tackles, 12 sacks (team-high), 12 tackles for loss, four passes defended, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, and a blocked field goal. He was a dominant nose tackle for the Crimson Tide — winning the Outland Trophy, Unanimous All-American honors, and first-team All-SEC honors in 2018. Williams helped the Tide to a College Football Playoff National Championship in 2017.
