Josh Jacobs and the Las Vegas Raiders failed to reach a new multi-year deal before Monday’s deadline for franchise-tagged players.

Jacobs, who led the NFL in rushing yards and yards from scrimmage last season, was franchise tagged by the Raiders in March. The former Alabama running back will make $10.1 million during the upcoming football season if he signs the franchise-tagged tender. He will not be able to sign a new contract until the end of the 2023 football season.
