Amari Cooper, three other Crimson Tide alums boast high Madden 24 ratings as wide receivers

The best wide receivers in the National Football League received their ratings for Madden 24.

People can preorder the now, but four Alabama football alums boasted high ratings. Amari Cooper, a former No. 4 overall selection in the 2015 NFL Draft, is coming off his sixth career 1,000+ receiving season and first for the Cleveland Browns.

He had 78 catches last year for 1,160 yards and nine touchdowns in a career-high 17 games. Cooper finished in the top 10 among receivers for overall rating (91, No. 10), deep route running (93, No. 5), and medium route running (91, No. 8). 

DeVonta Smith, a 2020 Heisman Trophy winner, came in at No. 20 for an overall rating of 87.  

Jaylen Waddle and Jameson Williams, both first-round picks, ranked in the top three for speed ratings. Both tied with a 98 rating, falling just behind Tyreek Hill at 99.

Alabama fans are looking forward to watching all four players in the fall.
