Turner, a former five-star, returns as the fearsome pass rusher for the Crimson Tide. He looks to fill in the shoes William Anderson leaves behind; however, he is pumped up about the young players in his room. As an outside linebacker, the South Florida native highlighted three freshmen Wednesday at SEC Media Days in Nashville (Tenn.) that fans need to watch.
Turner has seen growth from Keon Keeley, Yhonzae Pierre, and Qua Russaw. All three came as five stars in this recent recruiting class from their respective high schools. Russaw enrolled early for spring practice while Keeley and Pierre arrived in the summer.

“I am excited for everyone in the outside linebacker room,” Turner said. “Yhonzae Pierre, Keon Keeley, and Qua Russaw … I am seeing these guys grow into the men they have become today and as football players. I am happy to see what the future holds for them.”
Alabama has depth at outside linebacker with Chris Braswell, Quandarrius Robinson, Keanu Koht, and Jeremiah Alexander (redshirt freshman), but how much of an impact could Pierre, Keeley, or Russaw make in the fall?
