4-Star KingJoseph Edwards not making Alabama cookout

KingJoseph Edwards tweeted Saturday he will not be in Tuscaloosa this weekend for the Crimson Tide Champions Cookout.

Edwards is a 2024 four-star prospect, who attends Mill Creek High School. He has Alabama in his top eight along with Georgia, Tennessee, Texas, Oklahoma, TCU, Florida State and South Carolina.

The Tide hosted him last month, and he revealed they were one of his top choices based on the relationship he had built with them.

“My relationship with coach Saban and T-Rob been tight since last year,” Edwards told Touchdown Alabama. “We keep in touch on the regular. Alabama is at the top of my list.”

The 6-foot-5, 230-pounder suited up for Buford last season, where he saw limited action because he had to rehab an injury. He flashed a great use of his hands and strength at the point of attack.
