He was a talented player at the University of Alabama, but is he better suited for the National Football League?
Josh Jobe, a former four-star in the 2018 recruiting cycle, went undrafted in 2022. The Philadelphia Eagles gave him an opportunity, and he made the final roster. Jobe, a native of Miami, Fla., assisted the Tide to an undefeated College Football Playoff National Championship in 2020. He turned in his best season in a COVID-shortened year, posting 55 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, 11 pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and a quarterback hurry. In his final season, Jobe recorded 38 tackles, four breakups, and two interceptions. He played on three Southeastern Conference Championship teams (2018, 2020-21).

Jobe is stepping his game up in the pros.
On Wednesday, he recorded an interception in the Eagles’ joint practice against the Cleveland Browns.
DeVonta Smith, Jobe’s teammate at Alabama, got excited for him after the play. Darius Slay, a veteran cornerback for the Eagles, was proud to watch Jobe force a turnover. He has always had the talent, but injuries and technique issues have plagued Jobe.

He now seems to have everything in order.
Hopefully, we will see a marquee season from him.
