Key Insight: “Alabama’s OL will come out with intensity in setting up the run game and protecting Jalen Milroe. Milroe looks to have a similar performance to what he had against MTSU. Defensively, look for Kevin Steele to dial up different blitz packages to get after Quinn Ewers.”

Key Insight: “This has an opportunity to be another instant classic between the Crimson Tide and the Longhorns. This is the first true test for both squads as they both will look to get a feel for where their teams are. There may be some early nerves on both sides, but look for both squads to settle down and play some good football. The Tide will most likely go as far as Jalen Milroe takes them in this one. Aabama’s expected balanced attack leans towards his strength, and he should be able to produce against the Longhorns. Alabama’s secondary will be tested with Steve Sarkisian on the opposing sideline. “

Last season the Crimson Tide narrowly escaped the Longhorns and without Bryce Young this year the task will be even greater. Steve Sarkisian will look to make a statement against his former boss, but Nick Saban’s crew will just have enough to inch past Texas once again, no matter who finished the game at quarterback.”
