Charles Barkley is no stranger to speaking his mind as the NBA Hall of Famer, Auburn graduate and often viral commentator from TNT’s “Inside the NBA” is making waves for his comments again this week.
Barkley who is still a major supporter of his alma mater, revealed he doesn’t hold hate towards the Tigers’ greatest rival Alabama.
In fact, Barkley has a lot of respect for the Crimson Tide program, but his true hate lies with the fanbase.
“I really don’t hate Alabama,” Barkley said during an appearance on “The Next Round” on Wednesday. “I just want to beat them. I hate their fans because they’re obnoxious. They lost two games last year, and it was like, ‘Kill us now. That’s the end of the world.’ Then, after the loss to Texas, it was like, ‘Oh my God.’

“You got the greatest coach ever. They are a bunch of ungrateful brats. That’s the only thing I hate about Alabama. Listen, Alabama’s a great program. I have a lot of friends that played there. You know how much love and respect I have for Coach Saban, but I just hate their fans because they are obnoxious and entitled.”
