The Alabama Crimson Tide are set to face the Georgia Bulldogs in one of the most highly anticipated matchups of the season on Saturday evening.

No. 6 Alabama will look to build upon their promising start to the year in Week 6. The Tide and the Bulldogs each hold a 5-0 record to begin the season, and Saturday’s contest will more than likely have massive implications on both the SEC and CFP picture as a whole.

Legendary Alabama head coach Nick Saban took a moment to comment on the highly anticipated matchup on Friday afternoon, as Saban believes the Bulldogs are one of the most complete teams in all of college football.

“I think Georgia is one of the most complete teams in the country.” Saban said. “I know they haven’t been tested, but they haven’t been behind, they’ve dominated the competition. Which you know, that’s hard to do sometimes when you’re supposed to go out and win like you’re supposed to. So how they’ll fare against better competition, look. I think teams that have had success and have won championships, they’re never going to say die. They are going to compete in the game for 60 minutes, there may be some adversity for them in the game but they are going to keep playing and whoever is going to beat them is going to have to play them with the same temperament and attitude to play a complete game.”

Georgia was able to defeat Alabama by a final score of 28-7 during the SEC Championship in what was the second meeting of the 2025 season between the two programs. Saban appears to be confident in the Bulldogs ahead of Saturday’s contest, but both programs will undoubtedly need to be at their best nonetheless.
