Alabama fans have a team similar to its 2015 College Football Playoff National Championship team.
Jalen Milroe, a sophomore, has qualities similar to Jacob Coker. His toughness, leadership, competitiveness, and team-oriented mentality have the Crimson Tide with an opportunity to capture an SEC Western Division title and play for a Southeastern Conference Championship. Milroe had his best performance of the season last week versus Louisiana State University in a significant victory for the Crimson Tide. He totaled 219 passing yards, 155 rushing yards, and four touchdowns in a 42-28 win.

“What we are trying to do with Jalen and where he’s improved is having a singular focus on the next play,” Saban said to McAfee.
“What I consistently talk to him about is focus on the next play. The next play might be the one that makes the difference in the game, so don’t worry about what happened on the last play. We want to take what the defense gives. So in certain cases, his running ability is going to be a factor for us and we want to utilize that. In other cases, the skill guys that we have and the arm talent he has is something we can take advantage of. It is a combination of both moving forward.”

Milroe has increased in confidence as Alabama’s quarterback each week since earning the starting job back versus Ole Miss.
He leads Alabama on the road for Saturday’s contest against Kentucky. ESPN will have the broadcast at 11: 00 a.m. CT.
His outing versus LSU started conversations about Heisman Trophy consideration, but Milroe is remaining focused on propelling the Tide to its ultimate goal. Alabama fans want to see a complete game against the Wildcats.
