He has become an exciting rookie to watch for an NFL team that is winning again for the first time in decades.

Gibbs has been the Lions’ most impactful player with a game-high 65 yards rushing on seven carries.

He’s averaged 9.3 yards per rushing attempt, including a long run of 36 yards. Gibbs recorded a 12-yard rushing touchdown in the second quarter, cutting Chicago’s lead to 10-6. He also has one reception for six yards. Gibbs has six rushing scores on the season and has brought electricity to Detroit’s offense. The Lions are in first place in the NFC North because of Gibbs’ contributions.

He led the Crimson Tide in rushing in 2022 with 926 yards and seven touchdowns. Gibbs also totaled 444 receiving yards and three scores in the passing game. He posted 10 total touchdowns, helping the Tide to an Allstate Sugar Bowl victory.

Gibbs is looking to assist the Lions on a strong run in the playoffs.
