Alabama head coach Nick Saban enjoyed Christmas Eve and Christmas with his family, but he and the Crimson Tide have returned to business.
Alabama football arrived at the Tuscaloosa Regional Airport on Tuesday to fly to Pasadena, Calif. The Tide is headed to the West Coast to get more practice in before playing Michigan on New Year’s Day in the Rose Bowl. Alabama earned a 31-14 victory over Notre Dame in the 2021 Rose Bowl Game (2020 season) during the Coronavirus pandemic. The matchup was played at AT&T Stadium (Arlington, Texas) since California was on lock down. Alabama’s run of national championships started under Saban in the 2010 Rose Bowl Game (2009 season) when the Tide earned a 37-21 victory over Texas for a BCS National Championship.
