One city in the state of Alabama will be highly congested this weekend.
Masses of people intend on being in Tuscaloosa for Saturday’s ‘Saban Field’ dedication at Bryant-Denny Stadium at halftime during the Crimson Tide’s matchup versus South Florida. After seeing 17 years of excellence, the University of Alabama Board of Trustees and the Honorary Degrees and Recognition Committee are ready to have Nick Saban be a part of history forever.

The approval of Saban Field happened on July 19, but the first ceremony starts Saturday at 2:30 at the Walk of Champions.
According to Alabama Athletics, a stadium signage of Saban Field will be unveiled following remarks by UA President Dr. Stuart Bell, Director of Athletics Greg Byrne, and former Alabama head coach Nick Saban. The Saban family will then go through the Walk of Champions and enter Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium. At halftime, there will be a on-field recognition of the Sabans at the conclusion of the Million Dollar Band’s performance. Other aspects to commemorate Saban are listed below.
-Vector Security Champions Lane, located on the northwest side of the stadium, will have commemorative gameday posters, while supplies last, beginning at 1:30 p.m. CT. Saban’s national and SEC championship trophies will also be on display in Champions Lane.
-A limited number of Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium Yeti cups will be on sale in Champions Lane and at game program stands outside the stadium. A newly designed Walk of Champions T-shirt, featuring the Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium signage will be on sale at merchandise stands.
-Additionally, commemorative game programs will be on sale throughout the perimeter and inside the stadium, and commemorative game tickets will be available for purchase following the game.
Alabama battles South Florida at 6 p.m. CT via ESPN.
