Alabama’s coaching staff has been busy on the recruiting trail over the course of the past two weeks. Prospects from the 2027 recruiting class have begun to field offers from the Crimson Tide. One 2027 prospect, who recently landed an offer from Alabama is Hayden Ainsworth out of Biloxi, Mississippi.

Ainsworth is an offensive lineman prospect.

Touchdown Alabama recently caught up with Ainsworth, and he provided his thoughts on the offer.

“It means the world,” Ainsworth said: “You talk about blue blood programs, and they are the first one that comes to mind. To have coaches there that believe in me is more than I could describe. This is something that I’ve worked for since I knew about high school recruitment.”

Ainsworth was born in 2009, but he understands the level of dominance that Alabama has had since then.

“I was born in ’09 and since then, you’ve seen them at the top. No matter what people think now, their legacy is still there and continuing to grow I think,” said Ainsworth.

The 2027 prospect plays for Biloxi High School. His head coach is Jamey Dubose, who is one of the more decorated coaches in Alabama high school history.

Dubose won a state title at Central-Phenix City High School and two state titles at Prattville High School.

Ainsworth believes that Dubose’s guidance and coaching can help prepare him for the next level.

“Records speak for themselves,” Ainsworth told Touchdown Alabama. “With this being my second year under him as well, I see nothing but improvement for not only me as a player, but more importantly our team to take a commanding increase. Not everyone can play under a three-time state champ, I get to, and personally I’m trying to take full advantage.”

The 300-pound offensive lineman will look to improve under the direction of Dubose and continue to focus on his high school career. However, he is ready to visit Alabama and begin to build relationships with members of Alabama’s coaching staff.

“What I look forward to is the relationship I’m going to build with the new OC, and the people I’ll spend the most time with are Coach Kap and the S&C coaches,” said Ainsworth. “I plan on getting up there right as this dead period is over. I want to get there ASAP. Everyone there is upholding a standard and the standard for college football. I want to see that firsthand.”

Ainsworth projects to play offensive tackle at the next level. He mentioned how most colleges are recruiting him to play the tackle position. He is listed at 6-foot-5 and 305 pounds. Ainsworth displays his ability to finish blocks, pass protect, and block at the second level.

Those are three things he will need to continue to improve upon over the course of his high school career.
