Chris Booker left Tuscaloosa Saturday feeling excited about earning an offer from the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Booker attends Hapeville Charter Career Academy in Georgia. He holds offers from 11 college football offers with ten of them coming since the beginning of the new year.
The Crimson Tide joined Kentucky, Mississippi State and others in the running for Booker over the weekend.
“It means a lot,” Booker told Touchdown Alabama while discussing his offer from the Tide. “It’s been long awaited, and I am glad they pulled the trigger and made it happen.”
Booker has respect for the standard the Tide’s program has traditionally guided itself by.
“It’s a great program, very high standards for each other and great environment,” said Brooks.
The 6-foot-4, 270-pound offensive lineman is expected to see his offer list continue to grow as he is one of the most agile offensive linemen in the 2026 class as he showcases it with his ability to block in space and get to the second level. Brooks feels his game is strong in several areas.
“I feel that I down block, double-team block and pick up blitzes well,” Brooks said.
Alabama will look to get its new target back on campus in the spring.
