Tristen Keys plans to be back in Tuscaloosa for an official visit with Alabama football. He confirmed the news with Touchdown Alabama.
Keys is a 2026 five-star wide receiver out of Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
The Crimson Tide hosted him for its Junior Day over the weekend. He previously expressed his high level of respect for the Tide’s success at developing wide receivers.
“They produce a lot of great receivers, and it’s a lot of WRUs, but I feel like that’s one of them,” Keys told Touchdown Alabama. “They have produced a lot of first-round receivers.”
Alabama’s wide receiver coach JaMarcus Shephard is expected to play a big role in Alabama’s push for Keys. The two appear to be in a good place at the moment.
“I had a lot of great talks with him,” Keys said. “He came to visit me at my school, and that’s my guy, very energetic guy, and that’s what I like from a receiver coach. Someone I could chill with every day, and we just have fun, and when it’s time to be serious, be serious.”
Keys is a 6-foot-3, 185-pound playmaker at wide receiver, who explodes out of his release off the line of scrimmage with the ability to create separation by a deceptive route runner.
