Jeremiah Beaman made major strides this spring, according to multiple Alabama coaches and players.
Beaman was one of the most talked about Alabama players all spring outside of the three quarterbacks involved in the quarterback battle. He entered the spring with only three games of experience under his belt.
The Birmingham, Alabama native is now expected to be a major contributor in 2025.
Alabama’s defensive coordinator, Kane Wommack was asked about what he saw from Beaman this spring, and he shared he saw major growth.
“Really pleased with Beam and the steps that he has taken this spring,” Wommack said. “I think you saw pieces of that at the end of the season, even in bowl preparation and then what he was able to do and execute in the bowl game. He did a really nice job for us in the bowl game. I thought, took his game to another level in the spring. And so there’s a big body, a big frame that can move. He’s athletic, and he is operating with consistency that we can trust. I’m excited about his trajectory.”
Tim Keenan III, a fellow Birmingham native and Alabama defensive lineman, feels more game-like reps benefitted Beaman this spring.
“Beaman, overall just getting those game reps,” Keenan said. “Even though he stepped up big in the Michigan game this past last season, this spring you can definitely tell he’s feeling comfortable. He has his confidence. He’s playing fast, physical, violent. So, I’m liking what I’m seeing from Jeremiah Beaman.”
