Counting down 96 days to Kickoff: Remembering Najee Harris’ 96-yard performance in Iron Bowl

Alabama Football is 96 days away from kicking off the 2025 season inside Doak-Campbell Stadium against the Florida State Seminoles.

Today, Touchdown Alabama relives one of the most memorable 96-yard performances in Alabama history.

In 2020, Former Alabama running back Najee Harris rushed for 96 yards and aided the Crimson Tide in defeating the Auburn Tigers 42-13. He carried the ball 11 times, averaging 8.7 yards a carry.

The California native ripped off a 39-yard run to extend the Crimson Tide’s lead to 34-6 in the third quarter.

Over the course of his college career, Harris rushed for 267 yards and two touchdowns against the Tigers.
