BREAKING: North Carolina lands Jackson twin brothers

Twin brothers, Keeyun Chapman and Keegan Chapman have committed to Bill Belichick and the North Carolina Tar Heels.

Both 2026 prospects attend Jackson High School in Jackson, Alabama. The duo call the decision a ‘no brainer’ and is excited for what the future holds.

Keeyun is a four-star wide receiver. He feels the experience of the coaching staff in Chapel Hill makes the Tar Heels a good fit for him.

“I feel like North Carolina is a great fit for me because of the history behind the coaching staff,” Keeyun said. “Most if not all have coached at the highest level. I established a great relationship with them when I visited campus. I spoke with coach Belichick. He is excited about what I can bring to the program.”

Keeyun is also very excited about being able to compete with his brother at the next level.

“It feels great to play with my brother,” Keeyun added. “We always wanted to play together since we were kids, and we both feel comfortable knowing we would be with each other longer.”

Keegan is a 2026 defensive back. He has trust in the Tar Heels’ coaching staff’s ability to develop.

“I chose North Carolina because I feel I can develop there as a student and athlete,” Keegan said. “I have a great relationship with the staff. I spoke with coach Belichick. He is a Legend and I feel he is going to turn this program around. I love the direction of the program.”

The defensive back feels blessed to have the opportunity to compete alongside his brother.

“Playing alongside my twin brother is a dream come true,” said Keegan. “We used to talk about this every day when we were kids. Now, it’s about to become reality.”

Their teammate, Jamarrion Gordon committed to North Carolina a few days ago.
