Alabama football has officially announced its captains for the 2025 college football season.
The Crimson Tide will be led by Ty Simpson, Deontae Lawson, Tim Kennan III and Parker Brailsford as permanent captains this fall, per Yea Alabama, the program’s NIL entity. Lawson was also a team captain during the 2024. Simpson, Kennan III and Brailsford will be first-time captains this season.
Each player will now have a patch with the letter C on their jerseys and have their hand and cleat prints engraved into concrete outside of Denny Chimes in April 2026.
