Alabama football’s center and Captain Parker Brailsford has a message for his fellow Crimson Tide offensive linemen as the Alabama coaching staff continues to shuffle things upfront at multiple positions.
The Tide are still in the process of finding a rhythm with their offensive line after experimenting with many combinations throughout Alabama’s first three games. During this time, these rotations have led to ongoing competition at multiple positions amongst Alabama’s front five.
Brailsford met with reporters Tuesday after practice and offered insight on how those competitions are going and appeared to challenge his teammates.
“It’s been going great,” Brailsford said. “Competition, like I said before, competition is great for everybody. It pushes guys, makes guys go to their limits pretty much. I know everyone wants to start, but what are you going to do to do that? Like, you have another guy that you’re competing with. If he’s better than you, what are you going to show that you can do better?”
Alabama’s offensive front now hopes to begin to find answers and iron out its wrinkles as it prepares for Georgia.
