Trent Seaborn was able to get back to Tuscaloosa on Saturday night and watch the Crimson Tide go up against the LSU Tigers.
Seaborn is a 2027 four-star quarterback recruit out of Thompson High School in Alabaster, Alabama. He is currently the Crimson Tide’s only 2027 quarterback pledge.
Seaborn’s latest visit to Tuscaloosa was a good one. He was able to watch Alabama defeat LSU, despite its offense struggling.
“It was great, as usual.” Seaborn said. “The main thing is that we got the win. They’ve got things to work on but who doesn’t? Everybody and every team always has areas to work on and improve.”
The four-star also used his visit to connect with Alabama coaches and potential Tide commits with some top recruits on campus.
“Enjoyed hanging around with the commits and getting to connect with them, as well as a lot of the guys in my class and ‘26 that we are really pushing for,” Seaborn told Touchdown Alabama. “Talked a lot with them, getting to know them. I think what excites me most is I can see the intentionality with how Coach DeBoer and his staff recruit on the front end, guys who are built to be coached hard, be disciplined, and they’re focused on the right things – not just chasing a bag. Nobody I talked to is high on Bama for the bag, it’s because it’s where you’ll play against the best competition in practice and best competition in season. Those are the guys I want to be around too.”
Seaborn committed to Alabama over Georgia, South Carolina and others. His decision ultimately came down to what the Crimson Tide’s program continues to stand for.
“The opportunity to go to one of the greatest schools and compete against and with the greatest players while also being developed by great coaches, all while playing for my dream and in-state school, is a blessing from God,” Seaborn said.
