Auburn is starting Deuce Knight against Mercer, according to multiple reports.
Knight is a former four-star recruit and is a product of Lucedale, Mississippi. He will be making his first start of his career against the Bears, a week ahead of the Tigers facing Alabama.
The former four-star is a dual-threat quarterback, who can make plays with his arm and legs. If he has a great outing against Mercer, Knight could get the nod against the Tide.
There will be a lot on the line in this year’s Iron Bowl. Alabama is looking to pick up a win and keep its College Football Playoff hopes alive. Auburn is looking to become bowl-eligible.
