Former Alabama player fires back after being called a bandwagon supporter

Former Alabama running back, Mark Ingram was not happy after he was told not to jump back on the Alabama bandwagon after the Tide defeated Oklahoma in the first round of the College Football Playoff.

Ingram was the first Alabama player to win the Heisman Trophy. His contributions as a member of the Crimson Tide helped lay the foundation for the dynasty Nick Saban built in Tuscaloosa. The former Alabama running back was also critical of how the Tide ended the season after they lost to Georgia in the SEC Championship, and he went on to say he felt the Tide should be out of the playoff.

Ingram celebrated the Tide’s win against Oklahoma with a post to X, and he was presented with a comment reading, “The bandwagon is full. Don’t be trying to get back on now.”

“Me? On a bandwagon?! 😂😂😂 let’s get serious here. I drive the mf to each stop — win, lose, right or wrong. Im a straight shooter I call it how i see it. I was just in Norman standin on business bout MY TIDE!! GTFOH,” Ingram posted to X as a reply.

The Heisman Trophy Winner gets another opportunity to cheer on his alma mater at the Rose Bowl against Indiana.
