Vigor High School’s junior linebacker, Isaac McNeil reported an offer from Alabama football on Wednesday evening.
McNeil is a 2027 linebacker prospect. He holds previous offers from Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech and others. His Alabama offer comes from the Tide’s inside linebackers coach Chuck Morrell.
“It feels great,” McNeil told Touchdown Alabama when asked how it feels to hold an offer from the Tide. “It’s amazing. Coach Morrell just called me, and he was talking to me about how I’ve been in contact with him for a long time, and he offered me.”
Like many prospects from Alabama, McNeil has witnessed Alabama have much success in his lifetime. This makes him receiving an Alabama offer much more special.
“Alabama is a great program,” McNeil said. “They’ve been the best for a long time. It’s just great to have an offer from them.”
McNeil is eyeing a spring visit to Alabama after earning an offer from the Tide. Alabama currently holds a commitment from his teammate JaBarrius Garror.
Florida is set to host McNeil on this weekend, and Florida State will get him on campus the following weekend.
At 6-foot-2 and approximately 210 pounds, Alabama likes McNeil as an inside linebacker. He made plays as an inside linebacker and while rushing from the edge during the 2025 football season. His ability to make tackles in space and close on the football with great speed jumps out on film.
