Alabama football paid a visit to Avrian Pauley ahead of the 2027 defensive lineman visiting the Crimson Tide this weekend for Junior Day.

Pauley attends McGill-Toolen High School in Mobile, Alabama, and he is a top in-state target for the Tide. Multiple schools are recruiting Pauley hard outside of Alabama, including Ole Miss and Florida.

Alabama’s head coach Kalen DeBoer and the Tide’s defensive line coach Freddie Roach got out to visit Pauley on Wednesday.

The Mobile product recently spoke highly of the Tide while talking with Touchdown Alabama.

“I’ve always taken a strong liking towards Alabama as a program,” Pauley Jr. told Touchdown Alabama. “I like how they laid out their scheme for me and how they would utilize me in their defense. Alabama will forever hold a big part in my heart since they were the first big school to take a chance on me.”

At 6-foot-5 and 265 pounds, Pauley has the potential to play multiple positions along the defensive front at the next level with his versatility.
