Alabama makes Tennessee 6-foot-6 Edge feel like priority on Junior Day visit

Antwan Jackson felt like a priority target for Alabama in the 2027 recruiting class during a visit to Tuscaloosa on Saturday.

Jackson attends White Station High School in Memphis, Tennessee, and he is a member of the 2027 recruiting class. He is one of the many recruits the Tide is making a hard push for.

Alabama got Jackson on campus during the 2025 season, and he has remained in contact with the Tide’s outside linebacker coach Christian Robinson. Robinson visited him days before he got to Tuscaloosa on Saturday. The junior said his latest trip gave him an opportunity to build on his relationship with Alabama’s entire staff.

“I had an excellent time in T-Town and even better conversation with coach DeBoer and his defensive staff,” Jackson told Touchdown Alabama.

Alabama’s staff also sent Jackson a clear message about how they feel about him.

“Their message was that I was a top priority to them and how they’ll develop and utilize me as a player,” Jackson said.

Jackson’s latest post to X states he can not wait to get back to Tuscaloosa. An official visit to Alabama in May had been planned before he visited the Tide on Saturday.

“I really like the Alabama program,” Jackson previously told Touchdown Alabama. “The history speaks for itself. They consistently develop great players, especially at my position.”

Jackson, at 6-foot-6 and 245 pounds, finished the 2025 season with 5.5 sacks, 13 tackles for loss and seven quarterback hurries. He also accounted for 216 receiving yards as a tight end. Alabama has recruited the Tennessee product to play the wolf linebacker position.
