Alabama is among the schools making a hard push for Trey Martin at the moment.
Martin attends Franklin Parish High School in Louisiana, and he is a 2027 four-star recruit. His offers list currently includes offers from Alabama, Ohio State, Tennessee and others. The four-star respects Alabama football as a premier college football program, and he is looking forward to his June official visit with the Crimson Tide.
“Alabama is a great program,” Martin told Touchdown Alabama. “I’ll be officially visiting on June 5-7th. Looking forward to seeing how everything is.”
Alabama’s running back coach Robert Gillespie is leading the charge in the Tide’s push for Martin. The pair talks on a consistent basis.
“Me and Coach G talk a lot,” Martin said. “We’ve built a great relationship over the last few months. So I’m looking forward to visiting.”
Gillespie visited Martin in January.
At 6-foot and 195 pounds, Martin is an explosive and tenacious runner of the football. He displays great patience and vision when carrying the football, along with impressive balance.
