Alabama GM earns pay raise in new contract

Several coaches for the University of Alabama met with the Board of Trustees compensation committee on Wednesday to be approved for new contracts.

Courtney Morgan, the general manager for the Crimson Tide’s football program, was one of multiple football staffers to meet with the committee. The Inglewood (Calif.) native has been exceptional for Alabama on the recruiting trail, helping Alabama boast marquee signing classes in back-to-back cycles. He got approved for a pay raise, increasing from $875,000 to $1.2 million.

Morgan, a former University of Michigan standout, is showing he is worth every penny as he continues to make waves in NIL for the Tide. He looks to assist the program to a deep run in the College Football Playoff in the fall.
