Alabama football’s head coach Kalen DeBoer has received an extension and a pay raise from the University of Alabama. He was given a seven-year extension, and it will pay him $12 million annually.
The University of Alabama System Board of Trustees compensation committee approved the contract on Wednesday.
DeBoer will enter his third season as the Crimson Tide’s head coach in the fall. He is 20-8 as Alabama football’s head coach.
The South Dakota native took over as Alabama’s head coach after Saban retired. He led the Tide to the College Football Playoff last season.
