AFC team drafts Germie Bernard in the 2026 NFL Draft

Germie Bernard was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the second round of the 2026 NFL Draft.

Bernard played two seasons at the University of Alabama after transferring from Washington. He had 963 all-purpose yards and nine total touchdowns during his last season with the Crimson Tide.

The Las Vegas, Nevada product is the third Alabama player to get selected in the 2026 NFL Draft. Kadyn Proctor and Ty Simpson were drafted in the first round of the NFL Draft.

At 6-foot-1 and 206 pounds, Bernard is a considered a steal by many after getting drafted outside of the first round.
