Alabama football’s freshman running back and Alabama native EJ Crowell missed a good portion of the Crimson Tide’s spring practice and Alabama’s spring scrimmage game, A-Day, with a soft-tissue injury.
Fortunately for the Tide, Crowell looks to be in a great position to be healthy again in the fall, according to Kalen DeBoer.
“I think by the time we get to June, he will be in a good spot,” DeBoer said at the Regions Tradition Celebrity Pro-Am on Wednesday. “That’s everything I’m hearing and feeling. That’s going to be really critical for him to get the summer in, not just from a workout standpoint, but they run the player-run practices. Any reps for him are going to be good quality ways for him to continue to improve in his development here, especially early in his career.”
Crowell recently posted a photo from Alabama football’s media day, and he looks ready to punish defenders at 5-foot-11 and 221 pounds.
