Programs across the country are pushing early to land Huntsville 4-Star OL

Samuel Bailey has seen his offer list continue to grow in recent months.

Bailey is a 2028 four-star offensive lineman prospect who attends Mae Jemison High School in Huntsville, Alabama. He now holds offers from Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Ohio State, Texas A&M and others. The sophomore is feeling a lot of love from several of the coaching staffs at those programs.

“I think everybody’s showing a lot of love right now,” Bailey told Touchdown Alabama. “My recruitment’s still wide open. Everybody’s just showing a lot of love.”

Auburn is hosting Bailey this weekend, alongside some other top prospects. He is interested in learning more about the Tigers as he has respect for the tradition Auburn has.

“I feel like they’re a deeply historical program, and then they’ve shown they can win at the next level,” Bailey said.

The Crimson Tide offered Bailey during a visit in April, and he remains high on the Tide.

“I love Alabama,” Bailey said. “I’m so for real,  that’s like my hometown team, just being here. That’s just crazy to me.”

Alabama’s offensive line coach Adrian Klemm is expected to lead the Tide’s push for Bailey. He recently made a trip to Mae Jemison to check on the four-star.

“That’s my guy,” Bailey said. “Like I said before, we’re just definitely building that relationship right now.”

Ohio State’s offensive line coach Tyler Bowen also offered the four-star in April, and Bowen made Bailey feel like he in vested interest in the four-star’s future.

“He told me a lot of things about my game that I didn’t know, and he broke it down to me in such a sophisticated way,” said Bailey. “He really showed me that he really cared about me getting to the next level.”

Touchdown Alabama was in attendance for Mae Jemison’s spring game, and Bailey impressed with his agility and hand placement while blocking for the Jaguars. He also flashed some nastiness and physicality.

The 6-foot-6, 295-pounder is projected to be one of the most sought-after offensive linemen in next year’s class.
