Snell is a 2029 quarterback prospect, and he currently attends Allen High School in Allen, Texas. He now has college football offers from Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Indiana, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and a long list of other programs.
The rising sophomore feels he earned his offer from the Crimson Tide at camp.
“This offers mean a lot,” Snell said. “I went camping last year and didn’t get offered, so coming in this year, I wanted to show the coaches how much I have grown as a player over the past year.”
Kalen DeBoer and his coaching staff are developing quite a reputation when it comes to developing quarterbacks. DeBoer’s last three starting quarterbacks have been drafted in the early rounds of the NFL Draft, with Michael Penix and Ty Simpson getting drafted in the first round.
Snell has respect for the Tide’s coaching staff’s ability to identify and develop talent.
“I think the coaches do a great job evaluating quarterbacks,” Snell said. “I am one of four in my class that has received an offer. I am familiar with the other three, and they are really good quarterbacks. Alabama is always known for developing quarterbacks for the next level.”
The 2029 prospects blew Touchdown Alabama away when he came to Alabama to compete in a Southern Express 7v7 tournament. The 6-foot-3, 192-pounder showed he can make every throw on the field and was exciting to watch all day.
“My strength is definitely the way I can process the field along with my accuracy,” said Snell.

Alabama will look to continue to build its relationship with the signal caller.
