5-Star OL set for return visit to Alabama

Ismael Camara is expected to be back in Tuscaloosa soon for an unofficial visit.

Camara is one of the most dominant offensive linemen in the 2027 recruiting class. He attends Gilmer High School in Texas, and a long list of college football programs would love to have his services.

The Crimson Tide is one of those teams. Alabama’s offensive line coach Adrian Klemm has the Tide in a good position with the five-star after visiting him multiple times during the spring. Klemm’s last visit to Gilmore secured an unofficial visit to Alabama for the talented offensive lineman.

Camara’s dad tells Touchdown Alabama the visit from Klemm was ‘great’ and that the five-star will be back in Tuscaloosa very soon, en route to Camara doing some summer training in Atlanta.

Klemm has garnered some high praise from Camara in the past.

“Coach Klemm has three Super Bowl rings as a player and has coached at the highest levels,” Camara said. “He is someone I look up to because he has been where I want to go. He runs his offensive line room like an NFL offensive line room because that is what he knows and where he is from. I think the best way to sum up our relationship is respect.”

At 6-foot-6 and 344 pounds, Camara considers himself to be a physical and dominant force in the trenches but a nice guy off the field.
